I am taking a kickboxing class. I thought I was in pretty good shape before the class, but during the 1st class I realized that maybe I wasn't. For about the 1st 3 wee ks I was extremely sore after each class. Now halfway through the class I feel that I am in much better shape and am no longer struggling to walk up the steps in my apartment after class. I lost about 5lbs since starting this class and have gained a lot of muscles tone especially in my arms. Its was a really great class!
Caitlin Fulkerson, New Castle, PAI took kickboxing for the first time. The most apparent thing I noticed was an increased flexibility because I never had done fitness exercises with kicking and punching before. My body started to become more toned and it gave me a good introduction to the different types of weight training. Overall, it gave me new innovative ways to workout. The class is a lot of fun! I normally dreading classes and this one is fun!
Kerry Tallarico, Pittsburgh, PAI thorougly enjoyed the kickboxing class. The moves were easy to follow, the music was great and kept me motivated. The overall workout is tough but pushes me to do better.
Shelby Sheedy, Lancaster, PAI took kickboxing with Jackie O. in the spring. I feel a lot stronger after taking this class for a couple of weeks and my endurance for physical activity has definitely increased. Before Jackie O. I wouldn't consider myself physically fit, but now I feel my core is much stronger.
Brittney Hein, Northhampton, PAJackie makes working out fun and a joy to come to - I know I'm getting a workout - I always feel it the next day! There has definitely been an improvement in my cardiovascular endurance in the weeks since I've started working out with Jackie O.
Maura Kennedy, Scranton, PAI took Killer Abs and loved how I felt within the first week! I noticed my leg muscles were getting stronger from the lunges and my arms were also from the pushups! She really targeted on larger muscles groups and not just the abs! I am happy with this total body workout! I have never felt so good about my fitness level. Before class I could hardly hold 10 secs of plank or do 20 pushups and now I can do that AND WAY MORE! I love the "boot camp" feel and her constant motivation! I also love how she shares a little bit of tips and info about the body during class. You'll love it!
Maya Sando, Mt Lebanon, PAI took Killer Abs with Jackie O. Since the beginning of the class I've definitely noticed a difference. I feel like my upper arms are stronger and more toned and my abs though not killer yet, are definitely better than 6 weeks ago.
Meredith Pozzi Long Valley, NJI took Killer Abs. . .I feel like in general I'm just more in shape and more aware of myself. My arms have really toned up and I can feel my abs getting tighter. Overall, it was a good class.
Kelsey Beerer Durham, PAI feel more strength in my legs and have more endurance.
