Dancin Lke a Rock Star

Advice from The First Lady of Fitness, Fashion, and Fun and Pittsburgh Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Independent Beachbody Coach, TurboKick Instructor, and life coach, Jackie Omotalade:

I love to dance, however I am NOT a great dancer.  I’m not even a GOOD dancer, but when given the opportunity, I still love to take to the dance floor and shake my BOOTY.  One of the greatest things about my Snowshoe 2010 adventure was that I found myself immersed in a group of people who felt the exact same way. . .or at least i would like to think they did.  We had a blast dancing the night away. . .well maybe not the night away. . .that is what your teens and twenties are for, but we did have a blast dancing for a few hours in the early evening!

Dancing is a great cardio-vascular work-out that makes you look and feel young while getting your heart rate up so that you burn fat. In addition to burning calories you also HAVE FUN! Fitness should be fun!  You don’t have to be at a night club or even a gym to dance. . .you can dance anywhere!

So turn your radio or ipod on, then crank up the volume and spend the next hour dancing like its nobody’s business.  You will be shocked by how much you sweat and how good you feel not only while your dancing but throughout the rest of the day! JUST DANCE!
